Jeff Baker is an Assistant Professor  at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.  His research focuses on the economics of information technology, business intelligence, and electronic commerce. 

Jeff has taught a wide range of courses , including technically-oriented as well as managerially-oriented courses.  In 2007, Jeff received an award for  outstanding teaching from the ISQS Department at Texas Tech University. 

Professionally, Jeff has worked on information technology projects and holds the  CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification in project management from the Project Management Institute.

Away from school, Jeff enjoys active pursuits such as hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. Jeff enjoys traveling and working internationally.
