SPRING 2007

12/05/06 Remember final exam is on December 08 2006 at 10:30-12:00.  Here is the Sample final exam for practice.
11/02/06 Review Questions for mid term II are posted here.  Answers are on the last page, do not look at them before you take the test.  If you have any questions, send me an email or call me and drop by my office.  Good luck for the MT2
09/24/06 Review Questions and their answers have been posted.
09/24/06 The assignment page has been updated.  Everything over the blue line has been posted today.  I am also updating the schedule fall 2006 page for the readings for the rest of the semester.
09/07/06 Now that you have your own domain name and email addresses, you will notice that you are very restricted in the tools and the interface that is available to you.  Easy way out is to utilize your Tech resources.  Go to http://webpages.acs.ttu.edu/  and follow the instructions to claim your 5MB web space.  You can use Microsoft Frontpage with the Tech account which will remove a lot of constraints.  They you can provide links from your main site to the site hosted on the Tech servers.

09/06/06 I want you guys to read this article on snooping bosses.  It is not an assignment.  But before you decide not to read it, just give it a glance once.  I am sure that not only will you like it but you will discuss it with others also.  At the same time it will be valuable information for your class too.

A project idea for finance majors to be discussed later.

09/06/06 Updated the project group page with new groups and also the links that were submitted to me.

A Note From BA Career Management Center
The Rawls College of Business Career Management Center will be hosting various events this semester. For the current interview sessions for full-time and/or internship positions…please click here.  The spreadsheet lists all ISQS employers that will currently be hosting on-campus interviews this semester. It is imperative for students graduating in Dec. OR May 2007 (seeking jobs) to quickly begin submitting resumes online through RawlsCONNECT for the positions they are interested in interviewing for. Students also seeking summer 2007 internships should do the same.

Also, please attend the Fall Business Career Expo Oct. 3rd & 4th; we have over 100 employers scheduled to attend! Students should attend both days, because different employers will be in attendance each day. This is a great opportunity to meet & learn about employers & career opportunities.

09/05/06 Assignment posted on the Assignments page.
08/30/06 Updated the assignment page with the assignment that we discussed.  Access it here. For finance guys check out this interesting website: www.wallstreetselect.com
08/06/06  Started work on the new class website.  Here you will find current information with respect to this class. Previous class notes that will be used are here Video. Here is the article from the HBR about whether IT matters or not. Here is a story from the New York Times about the same thing. Some rebuttals for the article can be found here and here.
